 Our basic principle of ministry:

If we can just get average, ordinary people to become more aware - to get a glimpse of what life is like for the special needs person and for their families - God will work in mighty ways among His people and do some wonderful things in His church – the real body of Christ.

Zachariah’s Way is a support organization of caring people that enables churches, both as individual believers and corporately as a local Body of Christ, to become more involved in ministering to people with special needs and their families. Zachariah’s Way provides information, resource material, and networking services to persons desiring to help these special people. We also minister directly to the special needs person and family in a variety of ways through education and empowerment. Established on the truths and commands of scripture, our mission is to be the arms of Jesus in caring for the special needs child, adolescent, and adult, along with their families, by informing others of the need, enabling personal and corporate involvement, providing resources, and being true friends as we minister.

Zachariah's Way is founded on four primary principles. This is what we do:

Informing
Make the ordinary, average person more aware of special needs people and their families.
Enabling
Encourage and enable ordinary, average people to minister to special needs people and their families in their local communities.
Facilitating
Promote, advise, and facilitate the development and growth of inclusive ministry programs (Sunday school, “angel” or “buddy” care, respite care, etc,) for special needs people and their families through churches, civic organizations, and interested individuals.
Empowering
Educate, equip, and empower the parents of special needs children in locating, securing, and evaluating needed resources provided by various organizations, government agencies, and ministries, such as respite care, local church programs, financial assistance, therapy, and adaptive equipment.
